SUPPORT THE ARTS BY GIVING TO SART!

At Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre we believe the best way to support the arts is by supporting artists. By paying our actors and creative team a living wage, we enable them to shine their brightest, to the benefit of audiences and fellow artists alike. Offering fair pay also means that SART can attract some of the best talent the nation can offer, bringing world-class entertainment to our precious mountain home. Every year, with help from our patrons and community, we are able to give our performing & creative staff the chance to work on their craft full-time, creating the SART Standard of Excellence that you have come to know and love.

In 2023, Donations made it possible for SART to:

  • provide a living wage to the professional artists working on our shows
  • produce accessible, high quality entertainment for our local community
  • bring new works to the stage
  • give voice to the rich history of our region
  • bring show casts to perform for area retirement communities
  • provide quality children’s theatre free-of-charge for children under 12
  • lower ticket prices in the interest of making theatre accessible to ALL!
